WELCOME

BlackOutLDN started it's journey with a peaceful, static protest against the collective and systemic unlawful arrests and killings/attacks of black people in America. The protest took place on Saturday 15th August 2015 at the U.S. Embassy, London, W1A 2LQ.

Multiple BlackOut protests and marches took place simultaneously all over the U.S and here in London supporters from all over the UK showed solidarity.

We had an amazing turnout for the protest with supporters coming from far and wide to be a part of it. A massive thank you to all those who attended and those who couldn't be there on the day but contributed time, resources and funds to make it all possible. Each and every one of you are greatly appreciated.

However it was just the beginning, in the build up to and since the protest we have connected with a number of individuals and organisations passionate about the cause.

Our platforms range from marches, protests, peaceful gatherings, solidarity events, work within the community and more.

We are always keen to work with other organisations who understand the importance of speaking up and making a change regarding the struggles of race inequality.
